SDA's project versioning capabilities allow to view projects and visualizes changes between different versions without the need to open projects in the vendor-specific development environments (IDEs).
Locate the corresponding project in the project view and click on "View project" below the project name.
The SDA project viewer will open with the project tree on the left side and rendering of the individual elements on the right side.
You can navigate in the project tree on the left and conveniently expand or collapse groups of items via the settings icon next to the search field. The search field allows you to search for any project components in the tree.
Locate the corresponding project in the project view and click on "Project versions" below the project name. Then choose two project versions via the check boxes before each project version and click on "Compare project versions".
The project viewer will open and display a comparison of before and after for each project component.
Which changes have been made are highlighted in the project tree on the left side via small icons next to the project component:
M: Component was modified
D: Component was deleted
A: Component was added
Note that by default only changed components are shown. By clicking on the settings icon next to search field, all components ("items") can be made visible.
