License Requirements
Studio 5000 Logix Designer products require valid licensing to operate. All license management is handled through the SDA license management system within the SDA console. Please see the Adimistration Licensing for details on how to upload your license.

How to Connect to Your Rockwell Automation PLC
To connect to your Rockwell Automation device, ensure the following:
Verify the device status is "Connected" on the top panel of your session.
Once confirmed, proceed with connecting to your PLC as you would with a local device.
To connect with your PLC, click on the "Who Active" button.
Expand the AB_ETH-1 Ethernet driver and select your device.
Press “Go Online” to establish a successful communication session.
We have pre-configured your device to use the AB_ETH-1 driver. Ensure your device is reachable from the SDA Gateway. If you encounter connection issues, verify you can successfully ping the device from your gateway.
