Recompose project

Overview

Project recomposition allows to generate and download a complete project file based on the current status in the repository. If the project is linked to a PLC the new version will also be linked to the same PLC.

How to use project recomposition

  • Navigate to the corresponding repository (Projects --> Locate respective

  • Choose "Recompose Project" from the menu on the left. A so-called "build job" will start and you will be forwarded to a screen showing the log of the build job to track its progress.

  • Once the job is completed, a new version for this project will be created for this project. To download the version navigate to Projects --> Locate respective project --> Project versions

If you choose "Build Jobs" from the menu on the left while being in a repository you can access the logs of previous build jobs. A click on the "Status" in each row brings you to the detailed log screen. In this screen you can also download the respective project file.
