# Account Setup

SDA offers two primary paths to create and access your environment, depending on whether you want to explore the platform or provision a production-ready tenant from day one. Both options result in a fully functional SDA Console tenant, but differ in how they are initiated and how they transition into ongoing use.

#### **1.** [**14-Day Trial**](/app/2.-getting-started/account-setup/14-day-trial-sign-up-and-login.md)

The quickest way to get started is with the **14-Day Trial**, which provides full SDA platform capabilities—including device management, pipelines, browser-based engineering and security features—without requiring any upfront configuration. This option is ideal for evaluations, proofs of concept or learning the platform. Trial tenants can be converted to commercial customers at any time during or after the trial period.

For customers that prefer to begin directly with a long-term or production environment, SDA provides a **Tenant Account Setup** process. This method creates a dedicated tenant immediately, with full administrative control, environment isolation and access to all SDA features. Multiple tenants can be associated with a single customer and users can easily switch between them using the Tenant Switcher.
